Have you checked out Nixle? It is a great technology which can keep you up to date about things that are happening in your community via your cellular phone. Stay on top of street closures, emergency notifications and important notices...the best part is it's a free service (standard rates apply) and I am sure as time goes on it will become a tool we rely on more and more!
